But, many struggle at innovating hyper-personalized experiences and efficiencies for their customers, workforce and ecosystems with AI. To lead in the new with AI, businesses must start visualizing and deploying AI as a strategic fulcrum of building smarter products supported by smart services. Based on insights derived from proprietary survey and case study research, Accenture developed a three-prong approach that products and hi-tech companies must adopt to become adept at developing and delivering intelligent business value with AI.
The keynote was held at the Industry of Things World Asia 2018 in Singapore by Eric Schaffer, Senior Managing Director at Accenture.
Eric Schaeffer is a senior managing director at Accenture. He is leading their Digital Industry X.0 program with the objective of supporting industrial companies in harnessing digital opportunities. Schaeffer also leads one of Accenture’s global business services – Accenture Product Lifecycle Services – which provides end-to-end services to unlock value and efficiencies from product data across the entire value chain. Schaeffer’s primary industry background is automotive and industrial equipment manufacturers, his secondary industry focus is freight and logistics and transportation and travel. His project track record covers business transformation programs encompassing complex business and technology changes and he has led such programs for large and multinational companies.
